CrestSpire is a world of mythical creatures, namely dragons. There are countless species to discover, all with their own unique stories. Tribes of people may either hunt or befriend these beasts, taming them to form to their routines. Here, items of magic are true and real -- The only thing barring the people from such magic is lack of fortune. The richer you are, the more potions and spells you have obtained.

- Witches, unicorns, pegasi, vampires, and werewolves are real here.
- The setting's atmosphere is focused on fantasy, but the peoples' society has a sort of aesthetic of the 1940's America. Cars exist, but many people ride horses or dragons. Think of this era as a 40's where people are a LITTLE less bigoted, and towns are smaller.
- Dragons come from all walks of life. Some are wild, some strays with no colony or people, some are show dragons, some are TV and radio stars.
- Most magic is used for cosmetics, such as changing one's hair or coloring a dragon's scales -- Perhaps changing the size of a dragon deemed too large and dangerous. Witches are born randomly among the population and are much like the ones seen in the 1996 sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
- It's not uncommon for magic or mythical creatures to be used for malicious purposes. People have been killed by both wild dragons and tamed ones, either from lack of proper training or rather being trained specifically to kill.
- It is extremely, incredibly uncommon for people to obtain magic that allows communication between person and animal, but the rich and elite can sometimes make it happen.
- My reasoning for referring to the plain society as 'people' rather than humans specifically is that this world is also furry muse friendly. All humans can be swapped out for your furry/anthros :)
THE CAST.
PASCOW THE FULONG DRAGON.
Fulongs are an ancient, serpentine species that only the highly wealthy come across. Pascow is domesticated, of course, and he is owned by an entertainment company called FlickerVision. He performs in movies and TV, as well as live performance acts where he does whatever trick the audience expects of him. He likes the attention, but is often worked to the point of utter exhaustion and neglected terribly. Part of him yearns to just be someone's pet.
Element / breath: Confetti.
Stage: Adult.
TIGRESS THE MIX BREED.
Tigress is the very first of her kind -- The unexpected offspring of a wild rabbit and a Tigrilia dragon. She was rejected by both sides of her heritage after her parents were executed for their fraternization, and as the saying goes; "A child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth". Once grown to a juvenile on her own, she killed the entire warren of rabbits from her father's side in revenge, and took down several dragons of her mother's Tigrilia tribe. She was banished to far forests, where she remains an extremely dangerous creature. She is omnivorous, but prefers eating plants. When she kills, it is often for sport or out of anger, and she leaves the carcass to rot. She cannot fly, but maintains an absolutely incredible jump height and distance.

Stage: Adult.
NOGGIN THE HEILOCHIIM DRAGON.
Heilochiims are a species bred specifically for being holiday gifts to lovers. Behavior most similar to something halfway between a dog and a bird, these dragons are beautiful but very energetic and rowdy. They can mimic and parrot their masters, repeating simple phrases and melodies. Noggin, as tradition goes, was a gift from a husband to wife, but rejected when he grew to the juvenile stage. People often forget that Heilochiims are not teacup dragons, and when they grow, they become a bigger responsibility. Now, Noggin lives out his days being transferred between pet stores and shelters, waiting for a home.
Element / breath: Pan Dulce and fruit cake crust / crumbs.
Stage: Juvenile.
GECKO THE SAURIUM DRAGON.
Sauriums are a very common species in CrestSpire, best described as being fluffy raptors capable of flight. Gecko is the same, but there's a catch -- He used to be a person. Previously being a part of the upper echelon of society, Gecko was a rich man with a heart of ice and blood on his hands. He is responsible for the deaths of countless people due to directly cutting funding on medical programs, and is listed as one of the worst people in CrestSpire's congress history. Because of this, he faked his death, used a very costly permanent spell to change himself into a dragon, and changed his name. Now, he lives out in the wilderness within a hut he built, left to sit with the things he's done and wonder if there is really such a thing as redemption. He has acquired an affinity for bees, and has become a sort of keeper to them.

Stage: Elder.

You've found an egg! Well done, adventurer. There are countless kinds of dragons that could hatch from this, and this dragon will be yours to name and love! But remember -- This hatchling will be a mere baby, and it has to be cared for. Each species has its own preferences, needs, and temperament. By incubating the egg, you agree to learn and to teach, and devote your time to raising a dragon.
